Request apps on the Store

Overview of using mobile device to manage risks

As a user with the ServiceNow AI Platform® risk manager (sn_risk.manager) role, manage your tasks, assignments, requests, approvals, and other follow-up actions all from your mobile device. Receive timely notifications for current alerts, as well as risk and compliance status for all your critical assets, vendors, and impacted essential business services.

With the GRC Mobile application, you can perform the following Risk Management activities without being tied to the desktop:

• Approve or reject pending tasks that are assigned to you with the Risk Acceptance Tasks applet.
• Assign unassigned tasks to your team with the Indicator Tasks, Issues, and Remediation Tasks applets.
• Manage and reassign your team's overdue tasks with the Assessments and overdue Issues applets.

Applications

Applications are the ServiceNow® software components such as Policy and Compliance Management, Risk Management, and Audit Management that provide specific features and functionalities within your ServiceNow AI Platform instance. After you install these core applications and the GRC Mobile app on your ServiceNow AI Platform instance, these applications are displayed as icons on the bottom of your Android or iOS mobile device after you log in.

Folders

Each ServiceNow® mobile application contains folders that separate the applets by categories. In the preceding image, Pending Approvals, Team's Unassigned Work, and Team's Overdue Work are the folders of the Risk Mobile app.

Applets

Applets are the different options within the application. In the preceding image, the icons under the Pending Approvals, Team's Unassigned Work, and Team's Overdue Work sections are the available applets for the Risk Mobile app.

• Log in to the GRC Mobile application
  Open the GRC Mobile application and add a ServiceNow AI Platform® instance with Risk Management to your mobile device.
• Process pending Risk acceptance tasks with the GRC Mobile application
  Process pending approval requests for Risk Management acceptance tasks that are submitted to you.
• Assign Risk Management indicator tasks with the GRC Mobile application
  Assign unassigned indicator tasks to a member of your assignment group. An indicator task is related to a Risk record that is assigned to your compliance group.
• Assign Risk Management issues with the GRC Mobile application
  Assign unassigned issues to a member of your assignment group. Navigate through the record to view more details about the Risk Statement, the Risk record, and Remediation Tasks associated with an issue.
• Assign Risk Management remediation tasks with the GRC Mobile application
  Assign an unassigned remediation task to a user of your group. Edit the fields including the Extend by days field. Navigate through the record to view more details about the Risk Statement, the Risk record, and the Issues associated with a Remediation Task.
• Reassign overdue Risk Management assessments with the GRC Mobile application
  Reassign overdue risk assessments to another member of your assignment group.
• Reassign overdue Risk Management issues with the GRC Mobile application
  Reassign overdue Risk Management issues that are assigned to your assignment group.
• Filter records with the GRC Mobile application
  Set additional filters to limit the number of records that are displayed on a screen. Filtering records in the mobile app works like filtering with a condition builder on the ServiceNow AI Platform.
