  • Use the Impact Category record form to add details about the impact category such as name, criteria that the impact category contributes to, applicable timeframes, maximum RTO value, and so on in BCM UIB Workspace.

    Field Description
    Name Name of the impact category.
    Contributes to Contribution to RPO or RTO as a result of the impact on business disruption. If the impact category contributes to Recovery Point Objective, then the Impact analysis questions related list appears.
    Applicable timeframes Duration of business process disruption. This field appears only if the Contributes to field value is RTO.
    Maximum RTO value Metric that calculates the maximum time limit within which the business must recover an element after a disruption.
    Description Brief description of the impact category.
    Helper text Field to add the helper text. It provides a hint to the users on how to respond to the assessment questions. The helper text is then displayed for the user in the business impact analysis record.
