Creating and associating policy texts from Cloud documents
You can create and associate policy text for a policy record with any document that exist in Microsoft OneDrive, Google Drive, or in Microsoft SharePoint. You can sync the policy text and the document in cloud and get the latest version attached to the policy for publishing.
Note:
Policy redlining is enabled only for policy authoring in Compliance Workspace and not in ServiceNow AI Platform.
Although policy redlining as a feature is not available in ServiceNow AI Platform, the following changes that are made in Compliance Workspace to enable redlining for a policy are also visible in the policy form if you access it in ServiceNow AI Platform:
- Owner field is required.
- Approvers must be identified before you request approval. Previously, the policy can be auto-published even if there was no approver.
- Contributors field is added.
- Policy history related list is available.
- Activity field is added.
However, these changes support the redlining feature of the policy in Compliance Workspace and do not support any policy-related activities on ServiceNow AI Platform.
Contextually, Cloud refers to documents that reside in Microsoft OneDrive, Microsoft SharePoint and Google Drive.
