Operational risk heatmap for Advanced Risk Assessment in the Risk Workspace
As an operational risk manager, you can configure and manage your risk heatmaps in the Risk Workspace.
A risk heatmap is a data visualization tool that is used for communicating the specific risks that threaten an organization. Heatmaps are considered a critical component of enterprise risk management because it helps to identify risks that need more attention. In the Risk Workspace, you can configure your Advanced risk assessment heatmaps using the UI Builder. The heatmaps provide detailed information about your inherent and residual risks. The axes of the heatmaps can be configured in the inherent risk and residual risk configurations. To see how you can configure the axes details for the heatmap, see Configure an inherent assessment and Configure a residual assessment.
- Activate the GRC: Risk Management workspace (com.sn_risk_workspace) plugin.
- Activate the GRC: Advanced Risk (com.sn_risk_advanced) plugin.
- Enable the Migrate to Advanced Risk Assessments property.
In the Summary field, you can select the risk assessment methodology for which you want to view the heatmap. When you select any tile of the heatmap, you can view all the risks and their scores assessed for that particular risk assessment methodology. You can view the risk response strategy selected for those risks. If you want to define colors for your heatmaps, you can define the colors according to your preferences. For more information, see Create risk color styles.
To add or configure the heatmap in other pages or workspaces, see the Risk Heatmap Documentation [KB0994328] article in the Now Support Knowledge Base
