Key Features
- Home Page Dashboard: Serves as the default landing page in BCW, showing personalized sections such as My items (including Business impact analysis, Plans, Exercises, Crisis events) and My actions (Event tasks, Action items, Pending reviews, and Approvals).
- User Customization: Users can duplicate the base system dashboard, rename it, and add custom reports and visualizations. The original base dashboard is read-only and personalized by user, ensuring edits do not affect others.
- Dashboard Management Roles: BCM administrators have full permissions to create, edit, delete, and duplicate dashboards. General users can read default dashboards, create new personal dashboards, and duplicate dashboards they have access to.
- Record Overview Dashboards: Embedded in the Overview tab of key BCM records (Crisis events, Business impact analysis, Plans), these dashboards are pre-filtered to the current record and show data scoped accordingly. Only BCM administrators can edit these dashboards; others have read-only access.
- Navigation and Access: The dashboard menu on the home page allows easy switching between the default and user-created dashboards.
