    Practical Application for Customers

ServiceNow customers using the AI Risk and Compliance workspace can leverage the Operations tab to gain a centralized, real-time view of their AI asset governance status. The ability to drill down into each widget’s data helps in identifying bottlenecks, overdue tasks, and compliance gaps. Customers with the AI steward role can manage asset status between Managed and Unmanaged, ensuring dashboards accurately reflect assets under governance.

This tab supports compliance teams in prioritizing assessments, control attestations, issue resolution, and policy exception handling, ultimately strengthening AI governance and risk management efforts within their organizations.

The Operations tab on the AI Risk and Compliance workspace provides an overview of AI systems by state, along with metrics for assessments, control assurance, issues, policy exceptions, and AI cases.

The Operations tab displays the widgets that are listed in the following table. You can drill down into the data on each widget.

    Note:
Dashboards in the AI Risk and Compliance Workspace (Risk and Compliance, Operations, and AI Cases) display data for Managed AI assets only. AI assets that are marked as Unmanaged are excluded from dashboard widgets, metrics, and summary counts, but remain visible in inventory and list views. If you have the AI steward [sn_ai_governance_ai_steward] role, you can mark assets as Managed or Unmanaged. For more information, see AI assets- Managed and Unmanaged.
