View recovery tasks from Self-Service

  • View the recovery tasks that are assigned to you or the recovery task team to recover assets from a crisis event or exercise. Your BCM program manager assigns the tasks to you and you can view them from the self-service application menu.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_bcm.recovery_team_member

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to Self-Service > My Recovery Tasks.
    2. View the list of the event tasks that are assigned to you, the assigned group that you are part of, or a recovery team that you belong to and the state of the event is not in the Pending state.
      You can view the name and description of the recovery task.
    3. Select the link to the Task ID of an event task that you want to update.
      You can update the Actual start and Actual end details.
    4. Sort the Event Type column to list the crisis-related tasks at the top.
    5. View the Event Task type column to understand whether it is planned or an ad-hoc event.
    6. To add any notes to the event task activity, select the Activity section on the Details tab and add the information in the Work notes field.
    7. To update the task to an In progress state, select Work in Progress.
    8. To close the task, select either Close Incomplete or Close Complete.
    9. To update the record, select Update.
