  • Access conversion funnel analytics to track user behavior patterns and identify optimization opportunities in Employee Slate experiences.

    Before you begin

    Verify that Usage Insights is available in your instance. Check your entitlements to determine whether you have access to conversion funnel analytics.

    About this task

    Conversion funnels help you understand how employees move through specific workflows in Employee Slate. You can analyze out-of-the-box funnels or create custom funnels to track user behavior patterns and identify areas for experience optimization.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > User Experience Analytics.
      The Usage Insights dashboard opens.
    2. Select the appropriate Employee Slate option based on your subscription.
      • For standard Employee Slate deployments, select Employee Slate.
      • For Moveworks deployments, select Employee Slate for Moveworks.
      The selection determines which analytics data and funnel options are available.
    3. Select one of the following options to see the list of available items.
      1. Select Conversion Funnels from the analytics menu.
        The conversion funnels interface displays available options.
      2. Review the full list of available funnels and select the funnel.
        Available funnels provide value analytics and insights into user behavior for Notifications, Catalogs, Tasks, Org chart, and others.

      3. Select a specific funnel to view detailed analytics and user flow data.
        Each funnel provides metrics such as conversion rates, drop-off points, and user journey visualization.

    4. Select Events from the analytics menu.
      The events interface displays available options.

    5. Review and use the available out-of-the-box events.
    6. Optional: Select a specific event to view detailed analytics and user flow data.
      Each event metrics detects all screens, gestures, and user actions in your applications. You can view occurrences of user-triggered events including menu selection, button clicking, and others. For more information, see Viewing events analytics.
    7. Optional: Follow instructions available at Create a conversion funnel and Viewing events analytics for any additional configuration.

    Result

    You can now access conversion funnel data to analyze user behavior patterns in Employee Slate. Use this information to identify optimization opportunities and improve the employee experience.
