Remove a linked contract

Remove a linked parent contract from contract requests when you have linked a wrong contract request or the linking is no longer required.

Role required: sn_cm_core.contract_fulfiller

About this task

The Remove linked contract button is not available when there are no linked contracts in the contract request.

Procedure

1. Open the contract request from workspace that you are using.

   Method	Steps
   Contract Workspace listing	Navigate to All > Contract Workspace. Click the list icon (). Select Contract requests > All Select a contract request.
   Workspace used by your application	Navigate to your workspace. Open the list that displays the contract requests. Select a contract request.

2. Select the Related contract requests tab.
3. Select Remove linked contract.

4. In the confirmation message, select Remove.
   The linked parent contract request is removed and the associated contract repository records are unlinked.

   The parent-child hierarchy is updated to display only linked child contracts.

   The parent contract request number is removed from the Parent contract request field. The activity stream displays the parent-child linking history.
