Modify the topic content widget display

    • The topic content widget displays the knowledge articles and requests associated with the topic in your taxonomy. Click a knowledge article or a request to open it. You can configure the instance options to control the number of items to show per page and their sort order.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sp_admin or admin

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Self-Service > Employee Center.
      The Employee Center home page is displayed.
    2. Click a topic on the primary navigation bar.
      The topic page is displayed.
    3. Press and hold the control key on the keyboard, right-click the browse topic widget, and then select Instance Options.

    4. Configure the instance options.
      Table 1. Options
      Instance option Description
      Number of items per page Number of items to show on a single page. The choices are:
      • 12
      • 24

      Default value: 12
      Default sort order Order in which the items are sorted and displayed. The options are:
      • popularity
      • alphabetical

      Default value: popularity
    5. Click Save.
