Define user access for an exam catalog

  • After creating an exam catalog, define user access criteria at the exam catalog level.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_exam.catalog_admin

    Users configured as part of the admin list, can contribute user criteria or owner of the associated catalog can define user access for the catalog.

    Create an exam catalog. For more information, see Create exam catalogs.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Career Assessment > Exam Catalogs > All.
    2. Open the exam catalog that you want to define user access for.
    3. On the Can Read tab, select Edit.
    4. Add users who should have access to the exam catalog.
    5. On the Cannot Read tab, select Edit.
    6. Add users who should not have access to the exam catalog.
      Note:
      If a user is present in both Can Read and Cannot Read related lists, the Cannot Read takes precedence and the user is restricted from read access to that exam catalog.
    7. Select Save.
    8. On the Can Contribute tab, select Edit.
    9. Add users who can contribute to the exam catalog.
    10. Select Save.
    11. On the Cannot Contribute tab, select Edit.
    12. Add users who cannot contribute to the exam catalog.
    13. Select Save.
