Use approval experience

  • Use the My tasks section to track and fulfill the requests from the portal and Now Mobile.

    As an approver, view all your approvals with the in-context details such as common info, primary info, tabs, and the associated action groups.

    You can perform the following actions from the portal and Now Mobile.
    • View the assigned open tasks and requests on the My tasks section.
    • View and track the approval requests from external business applications such as SAP Concur and Workday right from your ServiceNow instance.
    • Understand the in-context details such as expense amount, requested for, attachments, state, and last comment for processing the approvals.
    • Click URLs and navigate to external sources for additional context and information.
    • For Workday, attachments support a max limit of 12 MB. Ensure the attachment size is below 12 MB.
    • Apply filters, select multiple line items, and perform actions such as approve all or reject all.
    • Navigate to the external sources such as Workday and SAP Concur to view the full report.
    • Perform quick actions such as approve, send back, or view details.
    • When you enable e-signatures for approvals, the approver must enter the correct credentials to change the approval state. Only when the credentials pass, the approval status changes.
