Prerequisites

Integration Process
For Pre-published Apps
- Upgrade to the latest version of IT Service Management for Microsoft 365 or HR Service Delivery for Microsoft 365 by installing the appropriate plugin.
- Regenerate and download a new Microsoft 365 manifest file from your ServiceNow instance.
- Upload this manifest file into Microsoft Teams to complete the integration.
For Self-configured Apps
- Perform the plugin upgrade as above.
- Update Microsoft Azure application client IDs to authenticate users for Employee Center access within Microsoft 365 apps. - Regenerate and download the new manifest file from ServiceNow.

The manifest file is critical for enabling Employee Center within Microsoft 365 applications. You generate and download it from your ServiceNow instance and then upload it into Microsoft Teams. This step applies to both pre-published and self-configured app integration methods.

- From HR Service Delivery for Microsoft 365 (version 3.3.6), ServiceNow for Microsoft Teams is upgraded to ServiceNow for Microsoft 365.
