Raise workplace service requests

  • You can request a workplace service using the Workplace Service Portal or the Now Mobile app.

    The Workplace Services catalog displays a list of workplace services from which your employees can submit requests. The following default Workplace services are provided by ServiceNow®:
    • Request general workplace help.
    • Reconfigure an office space.
    • Raise a move request for a desk change.
    • Request furniture for a space.
    • If you have installed Workplace Central plugin, then the following workplace services are available:
      • Workplace User Assignment and Move Service via Scenario Planning
      • Workplace Assignment Type Service
      • Workplace Allocation Change Service
    • Space request
    • The above workplace services are triggered automatically based on the type of change implemented while scenario planning. For more information about Space optimization - scenario planning and it's features, refer to Scenario Planning.

    You can also use the Virtual agent chat support on the Workplace Service Portal to submit a general inquiry. The chat support enables you to do the following:
    • Request a workplace help.
    • View the status of your submitted cases.
    • View the cases that are awaiting acceptance.
