  • The base system solution detects and enables you to resolve high disk usage issues by providing a detailed self-help instruction specific to the operating system.

    There are two base system resolutions provided by the ServiceNow Proactive Engagement.
    • Check system disk usage for Windows
    • Check system disk usage for Mac
    These base system solutions can be accessed from the metric rule tab in the DEX Administration. These metric rules are created to monitor the disk usage on end-user devices and triggers the alert action when it exceeds the set criteria. To use this metric rule for issue detection and employee engagement to enable self-remediation, we need to activate the rule.
    1. Navigate to Workspaces > Service Operation Workspace > DEX Administration > Metric rules.
    2. Select Name the rule.
    3. Select Active under rule status.
