Enable Virtual Agent or chat

  • Enable Virtual Agent to find solutions to your queries quickly and seamlessly, without having to wait on hold or speak with an agent by phone.

    Before you begin

    Make sure that you have installed the Virtual Agent plugin [com.glide.cs.chatbot] and the plugin is active.

    Role required: sn_dex_desktop.admin

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Desktop Assistant > Configuration > Application.
    2. On the Desktop Assistant page, select the Virtual agent enabled check box.

    3. Select Update.
      The Virtual Agent or chat icon appears on the Desktop Assistant header.
    4. To open the chat window, select the Virtual Agent or chat icon from the Desktop Assistant header.
