  • Activate the Major Incident Management (app-sow-mim) plugin in Service Operations Workspace using Admin Center.

    About this task

    Activating this plugin enables the Major incident button on incident records in Service Operations Workspace and unlocks the major incident management workflow, including the major incident workbench, communication plans and post-incident review.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Service Operations Workspace > Configurations.
    2. On the Admin Center Overview tab, in the Configure ITSM Core section, select the Install button under Major Incident Management.
    3. In the pop-up window that lists plugins to be installed, select Start Install.

    What to do next

    After Major Incident Management has been activated, you can configure the available features by selecting the Configure option, which redirects you to the Configuration tab of the Admin Center. For more information, see Configuring Major Incident Management in Service Operations Workspace.
