Configure filters for ITSM Manager Workspace

  • Define filter configurations for Schedule, Coaching, and Channels applications. You can use these filters to refine your search and view targeted results.

    About this task

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Workforce Optimization for ITSM > Manager Workspace Configurations > Filter Configurations.
    2. Select New.
    3. On the form, fill in the fields.
      Table 1. Filter Configuration form
      Name Description
      Filter Name Unique name for the filter configuration.
      Table Table that is used for the filter configuration.
      Note:
      • You can filter only on specific tables or database views for each module.
      • For a list of tables and database views that you can use for each module, see the Filter Configuration Tables section in Workforce Optimization for ITSM components.
      Field Field on which to filter.
      Filter Query Query to narrow down the filter options.
      Type Type of field to choose from:
      • Choice: choice type field.
      • Reference: reference type field.
      Order Filter that you can use to see the display order in Manager Workspace.
      Workspace Module Workforce Optimization for ITSM module that displays the filter configuration.
      Active Option that enables the filter configuration in Manager Workspace.
    4. Select Submit.

    Result

    The filter configuration is saved and available in the Workspace Module you specified, provided the Active option is selected.

    If you created a new filter for the Schedules module, then you must navigate to the Schedules module to view it.

    What to do next

    To verify the filter is active, navigate to All > Workforce Optimization for ITSM > Manager Workspace and open the module specified in the Workspace Module field. The filter appears in the filter panel.
