  • Metric rules set criteria and thresholds, triggering alerts when performance metrics deviate from specified parameters, facilitating effective system monitoring and management. This comprehensive approach to alert generation ensures that potential issues are promptly identified and addressed, ultimately enhancing system reliability and operational efficiency.

    To access the metric rules page, navigate to Workspaces > Service Operations Workspace and from the left pane, select the Administration icon (The Administration icon.). Select the Metric rules card.

    Note:
    When you initially install DEX, a set of pre-configured metric rules is available out of the box. These rules remain inactive upon installation. To activate them, see Activate or deactivate metric rules. If you delete these rules, they are permanently removed and cannot be retrieved.
