Test ServiceNow components without setting up authentication

    • Enables you to test the ServiceNow components on your sandbox instance without setting up authentication.

    Before you begin

    Make sure third-party cookies are enabled in your browsers, such as Google Chrome, Safari, Microsoft Edge.

    Role required: admin

    Procedure

    1. In the browser, open the third-party site where ServiceNow components are embedded.
      Note:
      If you’re not logged in to your instance ServiceNow component doesn’t appear.
    2. In the same browser, open the ServiceNow instance in an adjacent tab.
    3. Log in using your ServiceNow credentials.
    4. Return to the previous tab and refresh the page.
      Note:
      The ServiceNow components should appear and display the relevant information.
